Destination Guide

Destination Guides

The transition of moving from Thailand back to your home country or another country entirely, can sometimes be a slippery slope, especially at the destination where you can face issues such as language barriers and other culture differences. While you may already be aware of and able to overcome these barriers either as a returning citizen or an experienced traveler, we feel it would be convenient if you were provided with a roadmap to use at your discretion.

There are many other factors and questions that come into play when relocating to another country, and this is especially true when shipping and importing your House Hold Goods. Some of these points you may already know, while some you have never even heard of before.

Our Destination Guides are tailored to each country and are kept simple in aims to help answer any questions you may or may not have, such as:

  • How long will it take for my shipment to arrive at the destination?
  • Which port does it arrive at?
  • Will I have to pay any import duties and/or taxes?
  • What documents will be required from me?
  • Can I pack my dog’s or cat’s food?
  • Which Sea or Air port will my shipment arrive at?
  • Where can I send my kids to school, what is the cost of living and even the small details like the weather.

These guides have been abridged to help prevent any overwhelm. If you do not find an answer to one of your questions, then please contact us and one of our moving specialists will be more than happy to assist you.

Note: The Destination Guides are for returning citizens, and so some information may differ from foreigners (expats) moving to a different country. No matter your status, our moving specialist can go over these guides in detail with you during your FREE pre-move consultation.
